Dennis P. Vachon is a licensed New Hampshire attorney with over thirty years of legal practice.  Over these years, Attorney Vachon has acquired a thorough understanding of the breath and scope of real estate problems and their possible solutions through a variety of legal, real estate brokerage and political experiences.  These experiences have made him uniquely qualified to handle your residential or commercial real estate situation.

Attorney Vachon worked as a self-employed attorney operating a rural law firm and title company for thirteen of these years.  Before and after that, he worked for numerous law firms and title companies as a civil, probate and real estate practitioner.  In addition to practicing law, Dennis has operated a real estate brokerage for over fifteen years, specializing in the sale of unusual and distressed properties.

Dennis has served as the Strafford County Register of Deeds which maintains that County’s land records.  He has also served five terms in the New Hampshire House of Representatives where he was assigned to the Commerce Committee and the Committee on Ways and Means.  He has served as the school district moderator in his hometown and spent two years as a Peace Corp volunteer in Africa after college.

Dennis began his working career as a civil servant with the Department of Agriculture in Washington, DC where he developed policy and drafted regulations to implement Federal legislation for several food assistance programs as well as drafted arguments and briefs for administrative appeals.

A New Hampshire native, Dennis received his undergraduate degree from the University of New Hampshire and his law degree from the Antioch School of Law (now the David A. Clarke School of Law at the University of the District of Columbia.)  He has two adult children and resides in Strafford with his wife of thirty-four years.
